Watch Israeli craftmen building columns by hand for synagogue Binyan Bracha V’shalom in Kriat Ya’arim, Tel Stone, Israel, near Jerusalem.  The columns were built completely from solid wood, glued together, lathed round, carved by hand in a twisted pattern, and sanded.  Makes passersby want to reach and and touch them.

Bass Synagogue Furniture was commissioned by Synagogue Binyan Bracha V’shalom synagogue in Kriat Ya’arim, Tel Stone, Israel. The project was custom designed in three dimensional renderings and includes an aron kodesh, bimah, two podiums, and fourty meters of library shelving throughout the synagogue. All synagogue furnishings will be installed on site. The aron kodesh stands tall at about three and a half meters high and wide. The woodwork throughout the project will heavily ornamented with twisted carved columns, crowns, hand wood carving, routing and custom made moldings.  Will be installed before Pesach, 5776.
