This mechitzah was designed specifically to solve the issue of the portable synagogue divider. It is portable and designed in 4.5 foot lengths on castors hidden beneath the base. There are various options for the base and the semi-transparent top section. The profile is designed to prevent the use of legs, which can be akward. We custom design the mechitzahs to best suit your needs, space, and budget. Contact us to find out more about custom mechitza panel designs.

This mechitzah is designed with the concept that one-way mirror is most effective with the proper lighting. The lights reflect down from the ceiling and strike the mirror, which is tilted at a slight angle up from the men’s side, maximizing reflective nature of the glass, and downward on the women’s side maximizing transparency. We recommend the use of high quality one-way mirror with this design, but standard options are available. The profile of the design with tapered base gives a contemporary feel and eliminates the need for legs on a portable mechitza design that may cause tripping.
