Design for Ohr Olam Remodel

The 55th street conservative synagogue in Manhattan approached Bass Synagogue Furniture to design the remodel of their main sanctuary.  The design includes the aron kodesh and entire back wall, ner tamid, bimah, torah table, podiums, railing, and stained glass windows.

Description

The designs were the result of a visit and meeting with the Ohr Olam building committee.  We took careful measurements and photographs of the space before creating the three dimensional computer rendering.   The ner tamid is represented above as part of the crown above the aron kodesh.  The pattern above the dome represents hand carving in a classical style.  Domes and pillars are seen throughout the design. The stained glass design represents the twelve tribes of Israel, each of the six windows is split into two sections.  The colors represent the colors commonly associated with the tribe.  Contact us today for a free consultation on how we can design your synagogue remodel in any style or budget.
