This aron kodesh features a complex curve dome, which will be carved by hand in deep relief. The dome was made by a compicated 3 dimensional glue up in solid wood for carving. The pillars are also glued up and cut in half, then carved with the 12 tribes. This project pushes the limits of solid wood shapes, which we are continuing to develop into even more complex forms.
