Eternal Dancing Light

This unique eternal light was originally design and produced for Kol Dorot Synagogue in Oradell, New Jersey. The diametric version in the main image is currently for sale.  This ner tamid features complex curved wood shape standing two feet in height, illuminated by hand blown glass flames that rise in a dance together toward the top. Lit by low watt LED lights hidden in the sculpture.

Designed and built by our master artist Gabriel Bass, this eternal light is truly one of a kind. It represents well the technical abilities, design sensitivities, and dramatic style of the artist. Pictures show 2 ner tamids, built in either the positive or negative form. Glass is hand blown in Israel individually for each piece. Each eternal light or memorial light is built specifically with the space and aesthetic of the space. Many ner tamid are currently available for sale and others can be custom commissioned to order. Many eternal lights include hand blown glass by master craftsman Gabriel Bass, who also creates many of the original glass blowing molds.
