Folding Leaf Pedestal Dining Table

Bass Synagogue Furniture designed this Extending Pedestal Table for an apartment in Jerusalem, Israel. The entire table was crafted by hand in solid cherry wood, including the hardware, to match their floors and kitchen. A latches and locks are built as sliding wood supports underneath the table. The pedestal was turned on a lathe. The legs and arms joined with large dovetail joints. Glass is inlaid into the top between the panel joined frame.
