Traditional and Contemporary Shtender Designs
This design was first commissioned as a pair of two identical shtenders for Temple Sinai in Washington DC. Made from solid hard wood with dovetail joinery, these modest prayer stands can also be used as a larger podium. A large surface is created when both the shtenders are standing side by side.
