This Kise Shel Eliyahu was custom built for Young Israel Synagogue of Holliswood, located in Queens, New York. This Elijah’s chair was hand crafted from solid wood, African Walnut, and features handmade glass representing the Twelve Tribes in Israel on the back with unique pattern hand carving originating from a Star of David. The top of the legs were hand carved by the artist in the shape of pomegranates, rimmonim, and brush gold gilded. along with the phrase in Hebrew across the top which reads, “this is the chair of Elijahu HaNavi, may his name be blessed.”
