Master glass artisan Gabriel Bass has blown the glass directly into the wooden base. The four directions are represented in four colours of inlayed glass, hand made on the torch at Bass Synagogue Furniture studios. Eternal Light mold has hollowed by hand on a lathe from local found Israeli cypress, carefully seasoned in the shop. The mold undergoes final sanding, carving and glass inlays before the lacquer finish applied. The glass is then reinserted into the mold. Each piece is unique, being carefully crafted one at a time by artist Gabriel Bass. This Eternal Light was purchased by a synagogue in Los Angeles.
