Portable two-torah Aron Kodesh, custom made for a private client in Los Angeles for a bar mitzvah. The Ark has since been donated to the synagogue for other simchas celebrated outside the synagogue. Design for portability was cleverly based upon the pole and ring design for the Mishkan carrying the ten commandments. The Twelve Tribes are symbolically represented in this Aron Kodesh, inlayed in handmade glass and carving. Ark is produced from African walnut, joined strongly with elegant dovetail joints. This Torah Ark is crowned with a solid wood and glass Ner Tamid, which folds down for transport. Handmade glass knobs available in a variety of colours and textures.
