This special project was designed together with the community, to suit their needs and style. The metal work was started by master fabricator Rom from Aniam, who suddenly passed away in the middle of this project. Avraham, his apprentice, who was working with him on the first stages, took on the project to finish it in Rom’s name.

The Tel Aviv International Synagogue commissioned this most unique design. The mechitza is a combination of wood pillars and panels, with hand metal work in a pattern of the seven species. The wood pillars are removable by metal poles coupled into the floor. The mechitza panels can then be hung solid in any pattern, forward or back, between the pillars. The entire project extended more than 18 linear meters and 11 panels with one panel as a door in front.
